Having walked in the Pittsfield 4th of July Parade many times, we are quite used to spectators wanting to see participants do interesting things -- pushups, dance moves and, maybe the most popular request, cartwheels.

While I am not one who can perform such a move, members of the Dalton Fire Department certainly are. In a video shared by Downtown Pittsfield on Facebook, and taken by community member Nicholas Russo, four members of the department -- while in full dress uniforms on a hot Independence Day -- delivered a well-timed, and well-executed cartwheel.

Check out the video below:

The community turned out in waves to check out the annual parade, with many setting up chairs and tents the night before. This year's 4th of July Parade in Downtown Pittsfield saw Pittsfield Police Lt. Michael Winston posthumously serve as the Grand Marshal.
