Once again, our local fire crews came to the rescue to take care of a potentially serious situation before it got out of hand yesterday morning in Pittsfield.
According to the Pittsfield Fire Department, one person had to be taken to Berkshire Medical Center after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning on Congress St.
Thankfully, a fire at a home that housed four families in Pittsfield was quickly extinguished on Tuesday night. That's according to Deputy Chief Daniel Garner.
