Once again, multiple law enforcement organizations working together as a team leads to the arrest of a Springfield man right here in Berkshire County.

Members of the Springfield Police C-3 North End Unit pulled over 26-year-old Damion Hackett for excessive window tint and not having an inspection sticker initially.

According to a post on the Springfield Police Department Facebook page, about a recent arrest and gun seizure, the police department says that the unit has thus far in 2022, seized 99 illegally possessed firearms.

Over the course of a two-day period, 15 people were arrested in connection with a wide variety of offenses.

It appears that 24 medals believed to have been stolen from the Springfield Armory are being returned.
