Once Popular Retailer Making a Massachusetts Comeback
Massachusetts has been experiencing several retail closures over the past few years. A combination of the pandemic, inflation, and changes in shopping habits are just some of the factors behind why big-name retailers like Bed, Bath and Beyond, Christmas Tree Shops, and others have had to shut down in recent years.
A Once Thriving Retailer is Making a Comeback with a New Twist
While many businesses have been forced to close their doors, there's one retailer that is making a comeback. You may remember that a few years ago both Toys R Us and Babies R Us went out of business. While Toys R Us is opening new brick-and-mortar stores as well as planning locations in airports and cruise ships, Babies R Us is making a comeback with a new twist.
Babies R Us Teams Up with Kohl's
Babies R Us is teaming up with Kohl's and will have mini shops inside 200 of the Kohl's stores throughout the country. Here's some info regarding this partnership in a news release on Kohl's website:
The Babies“R”Us at Kohl’s shop will feature a curated assortment of the latest baby gear, furniture, activity, accessories, and more. Adjacent to the shop, customers will find the best of Kohl’s existing baby and kids' apparel and other offerings from brands like Little Co. by Lauren Conrad, Jumping Beans, Carters, Nike, and more to create a comprehensive baby shopping experience. The store experience complements Kohl’s expanded online Babies“R”Us assortment available to customers nationwide on Kohls.com, giving parents everywhere the opportunity to shop Kohl’s baby offerings.
