Canceled: Tonight’s Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Wahconah Park
Rain usually cancels Baseball games. Unfortunately, tonight’s Pittsfield Suns rainout has also rained out the pop-up vaccine clinic that was set for tonight in conjunction with the game.
According to a media release from the office of Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer, tonight’s COVID-19 pop-up vaccine clinic and the Pittsfield Suns game at Wahconah Park have been canceled due to tonight’s rainy forecast.
We are certainly disappointed as we saw there was a tremendous interest in this event. ~ Kayla Donnelly-Winters, the city’s Public Health Nurse Manager
The pop-up clinic was one of two scheduled to be held in conjunction with Pittsfield Suns games.
Donnelly-Winters says the Aug. 5th clinic is still scheduled to take place. It will be held from 5:30 to 7 pm in front of the gates to the ballpark. Appointments are not required.

If you have not been vaccinated as of yet, and you don’t want to wait for the next pop-up clinic on August 5th, you can still get vaccinated at one of three locations where vaccines are being administered on a daily basis:
The Pittsfield COVID-19 Testing Center at 505 East Street is open for vaccination daily from 8:30 am-7:30 pm.
The North Adams COVID-19 Testing Center at 89 Church Street is open for vaccination daily from 8:30 am-4:00 pm.
Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington is administering vaccinations on-site at the hospital Monday through Friday from 9 am-2 pm.
