Police are asking the public for help finding the man and the other occupants of the vehicle.

A man attempted to coax four female students from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts into his vehicle on Monday,

According to a news release from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Police Department. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Eagle and Center streets. The four students were walking down the street when they were approached by a black four-door sedan with three men inside,

The driver of the car asked the students if they were drunk, and if any of them wanted to give their Snapchat names.

The students replied no and walked away, but the driver of the car continued to stare at them for several minutes.

The release said that the students felt unsafe so they hid behind some bushes as the car circled the block, looking for them.

The students then reported the incident to the police and were escorted back to their dorm.

The three occupants of the car were described as white males with short hair, with one of them having red hair. The vehicle had a loud exhaust.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the North Adams Police Department at 413-664-4945 or MCLA police by dialing 5100 from any campus phone. For off-campus or cellphone calls, dial 413-662-5100.

The release went on to say.

"This incident serves as a reminder to practice safe behaviors such as being alert, staying in groups and contacting MCLA Campus Police to accompany you if you are feeling unsafe or dialing 911 if you feel you are in an emergency situation,"
