Multiple Acts of Vandalism Using BB/Pellet Guns in Pittsfield
Police in the City of Pittsfield are investigated multiple acts of vandalism that have been perpetrated over the past couple of days.
According to a press release from the Pittsfield Police Department, police received multiple reports of vandalism between Tuesday, March 30th and Wednesday, March 31st. Lt. John Soules says that most of the property damage was apparently caused by someone firing BB guns and/or pellet guns.
Soules reports that the damage most likely occurred during the nighttime or early morning hours and cases have been reported throughout different parts of the city. The police department says that no injuries have been reported at this time as a result of the incidents.
The Pittsfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with solving these crimes. They are seeking any information that anyone might have, and are asking any owners of residential or business video surveillance systems to review their footage and then report any suspicious activity that looks like it could possibly be tied to these acts of vandalism.
