Pittsfield Looking to Reduce Energy Usage in 2021
In an effort to reduce energy usage in Pittsfield, the city-lead outreach aims to empower residents and business owners to contribute to the reduction goal. The initiative provides resources for businesses, property owners, and residents to increase their energy efficiency with little or no up-front costs. Increasing energy efficiency will shrink your carbon footprint with the immediate benefits of reduced energy bills and an increased level of comfort in your home or business.
The city residents will be receiving a mailing from the Mayor’s Office and Mass Saves in the upcoming days. The mailing will include a number of energy efficient initiatives available through the statewide program. The city has an ambitious goal of reducing energy usage by 20% this coming year.
