Pittsfield Man Hit With Gunfire Receives Multiple Gun Shot Wounds

Pittsfield Police and other first responders were dispatched to the area of Springside Avenue and Parker Street around 10:30 last night for the report of a gunshot victim inside of a vehicle.

According to police, arriving first responders found 28-year-old David Moody Jr. in the driver’s seat of an SUV in front of a Parker Street residence. Moody had been shot multiple times.

He was treated at the scene and transported to BMC. His injuries, though serious, are not considered life threatening.

Pittsfield Police Detectives and Crime Scene responded to process the scene and spoke with several individuals.  Video evidence was recovered as well. The investigation is ongoing.
