Following the news of a Friday evening shooting on Elm Street in Pittsfield, which left two men wounded, additional details were bleak at best,

However, the Pittsfield Police Department have released a few more in a public release via their Facebook page on Sunday.

The PPD confirmed the arrests of Trevor Pemble and Marchenne Hanson in connection to the shooting. Pemble was charged with assault and battery by discharging a firearm and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. Hanson was charged with the same, in addition to unlicensed possession of a firearm.

Police officials said that they received an alert via ShotSpotter "at approximately 6:02 p.m." at 70 Elm Street, along with several 911 calls. Both Pemble and Hanson received gunshot wounds.

"Officers rendered aid to the men and they were later transported to Berkshire Medical Center where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries," says the PPD in a statement.

*Update: On Monday, Pemble and Hanson were arraigned at Berkshire Medical Center. Pemble was ordered held on $15,000 bail, while Hanson was being held without the right to bail and will face a dangerousness hearing next week.
