Whether you may realize it or not, Valentine's Day is less than a month away. And in Massachusetts, romance seems to be in the air this time of year. Or, maybe that's just the snow that we're forecasted to get this weekend. That's probably it, actually. But that doesn't mean that couples aren't looking to have some sort of romantic getaway at some point. Even Valentine's Day falls on a weekend this year. Luckily, we now know where to go for the best romantic weekend getaway in Massachusetts.

Never a dull moment when you bring that special someone to this vicinity

There are so many great spots to come through and stay at throughout the state of Massachusetts. And let's be honest, no matter what time of year it is, there's never really a bad spot in the Bay State for a getaway. But where would be a great spot in Massachusetts to go for the best off the beaten path getaway throughout the region? Apparently, the choice for Massachusetts is also the best throughout all of New England.

In the Berkshires, the warmer temperatures are here (for the most part), which gives more incentive for everyone to get out and about, or maybe even take a road trip for a weekend, if you're not already. As luck would have it, in the Berkshires, we happen to have one of the best weekend getaways, not just in Massachusetts, but in the U.S. Even if it is unexpected.

Throughout the year, people love to come here thanks to the surrounding aesthetics, the hiking, the restaurants, getting out on the lake, etc. And luckily, we are in a region where lots of people happen to be that love to travel here, even if it's for a weekend. Many of us who live in the Beautiful Berkshires do so simply because we LOVE it here! Is it any wonder that it's one of the top tourist destinations?
