Tis the Season

It will be here before you know it, Christmas In The Berkshires. Every year there is a search for a beautiful Christmas tree to adorn Park Square in Pittsfield and also it could be two Christmas trees in the downtown area of North Adams.

The North Adams Fire Department was called to Church Street at around 9:20 AM for a report of a tree and wires on fire.

Thanks to the City of Pittsfield and the Mayor's Office, we've got a handy-dandy schedule to pass along to you regarding Christmas tree removal and pickup.

Do you put up an artificial tree, or a real tree for Christmas? The last time I had a real tree in my home for Christmas, I was probably in kindergarten or first grade. Every holiday season though, I see people zipping across town with trees either tide to a roof rack or sticking out of a side or rear window...

Please note that Christmas tree pickup in the month of January will accompany the regular trash pickup schedule.
