Two Recent Motor Vehicle VS. Pedestrian Collision Incidents

On May 25, 2019 at approximately 9:47 PM, the Pittsfield Police Dept. responded to the area of 510 North St for a report of a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian collision. A 2002 Ford truck operated by Mr. Ryan Aulisio (30) of Pittsfield, MA was traveling east bound on Linden St approaching the intersection with North St. Mr. Aulisio attempted to turn left on to North St and in the process, collided with Ms. Heather Ward (43) of Pittsfield, who was walking west bound across North St. Ms. Ward was transported to BMC for minor injuries. This case remains under investigation by the Pittsfield Police Dept.

Later that evening, May 25, 2019 at approximately 11:17 PM, a second motor vehicle vs. pedestrian collision was responded to by officers. This collision occurred at the intersection of First St and Lincoln St. In this incident, a 2006 Chevy Tahoe operated by Mr. Clifford Pettus (64) of Pittsfield, MA was traveling on First St when he collided with pedestrian, Jermain Sistrunk Jr. (21) also of Pittsfield who was crossing the roadway. Mr. Sistrunk also received minor injuries and was transported to BMC. This case remains under investigation by the Pittsfield Police Dept.
