Massachusetts residents are told not to travel to many locations this year. If you are planning a unique trip for the holidays or you are a free spirit who loves to travel and discover new locations year round you'll want to pay close attention.

With the holiday travel season about to take effect, there are several areas you'll want to avoid as the United States government has issued several "Level 4: Do Not Travel" alerts. Check out the list below.
