Upcoming Insurance Workshop for Restaurant Owners

Attention restaurant owners… Do you have questions about your insurance coverage? Well, there is a FREE event coming up that will help you to navigate through the difficulties of knowing what is available to you and whether or not you have yourself properly insured against issues that may arise in the restaurant environment.

Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. has announced a free, 45-minute Insurance 101 webinar specifically for restaurants that’s being held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 9 am via the Zoom meeting platform. Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. has partnered with Cross Insurance to offer the Zoom workshop: “Play With Your Food, Not Your Insurance Coverages!”

The webinar is open to representatives from any Pittsfield restaurant, and it’s easy to register at downtownpittsfield.com. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

“Play With Your Food, Not Your Insurance Coverages!” will cover what your agent should be talking to you about and what kind of coverages you should have. Learn about several coverages specific for restaurants, including liquor liability, workers compensation and cyber. Presenters will cover “Does COVID-19 have an impact on your insurance?” and other important questions they’ve heard in the last year. There will be a 10-minute open session for questions at the end of the webinar, and questions will also be accepted in advance by emailing Kate at klauzon@crossagency.com.
