There will be an on-street parking ban put into place late Friday night on North Street in Downtown Pittsfield.

The City of Pittsfield announced that the ban will be in regards to a street sweeping, which will kick off at midnight and will continue through the early morning hours of Saturday.

"An on-street parking ban is in effect from 11 p.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Saturday. Failure to remove vehicles during this time may result in ticketing or towing," read a release sent out by the City.
