Chili’s Grill And Bar Planned For Berkshire Crossing

If you were wondering what’s going into the space where the former Old Country Buffet used to be in the Berkshire Crossing Shipping Complex in Pittsfield, you can stop wondering. We now know that Chili's Grill & Bar plans to build a new restaurant there.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that according to Kristen Moore, a spokesperson for Brixmor Property Group, owner of Berkshire Crossing – a 4,500-square-foot restaurant could open by the end of the year.

The Pittsfield Conservation Commission approved plans last month to demolish the Hubbard Avenue building that used to house Old Country Buffet. That restaurant closed abruptly in February of 2016.

If you are not familiar with Chili’s, it’s an international chain featuring casual dining and Tex-Mex cuisine.
