Downtown Lenox will be filled with art this weekend, but that’s not all. You can expect to see some specialty food vendors along with some really great artisanal products.

On Saturday June 5th and Sunday June 6th, the town of Lenox will host the 2021 Spring Art Walk event. The event is a collaboration with the Lenox Chamber of Commerce, the Lenox Cultural District and American Arts Marketing. It will run 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, and 11:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday.

Because of the success of the Fall Art Walk, the Lenox Chamber decided to hold a Spring event as well to kick off the 2021 Tourist season. The Art Walk is a curated show of artists and artisans who showcase their work in art villages safely-distanced throughout downtown Lenox. A wide range of Artists representing various mediums were invited to display their artwork and artisan products over the two-day event. Offerings include paintings, drawings, photographs, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry and clothing.

The event was the brainchild of Richard and Joanna Rothbard who own An American Craftsman Gallery in Lenox with a second location in Great Barrington in an effort to introduce high end Artists to the residents and visitors of Lenox.

Our goal is to continue merging Art and Commerce in a beautiful setting like the Berkshires that attracts people who have a great appreciation for what is of ered at our shows. ~ Richard Rothbard, Director, American Arts Marketing & Berkshire Arts Festival.

As an addition to Art Walk this spring, specialty food vendors have been invited and will have a small section on Saturday. This section will include artisanal products such as olive oils, maple syrup, Italian biscotti and breads. The event kicks off Saturday, June 6 at 10:00am.

COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed and those that attend will be asked to maintain social distancing among attendees.
