North Adams Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained In Attack

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner informed the State Police Detective Unit that Charli Cook, 41, died at Baystate Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
She’s been hospitalized since July 11 after a brutal attack by her husband Michael Cook in North Adams.
The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office previously indicted Michael Cook on charges of assault to murder, assault, and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a household member, and armed assault with intent to murder. He is being held at the Berkshire County House of Correction as a danger to the community.
District Attorney Andrea Harrington will be seeking to indict Michael Cook on a murder charge.

I send my condolences to Charli Cook’s family and friends. The investigators, prosecutors, and victim advocates who have been working on this case were heartbroken by her passing. We are determined to obtain justice for Charli.
I had a chance to text back and forth with Charli's Brother they are raising money for a memorial and funeral for her.
My name is Jeff Gould and I am the brother of Charli Cook that just a few days ago on Dec 1st she lost her life too Domestic Violence... Our family would like too raise money for Charli to give her what she deserves...So plz help any way u can thank you.
