Package Store Robbery

On Wednesday July 24, 2019 at 9:09 pm Pittsfield Police patrol units responded to Harte’s Package Store at 47 Dalton Ave for a report of an armed robbery.  The suspect was described as being a short white male, with a beard, and missing front teeth.  The suspect was wearing a light colored hooded shirt. The suspect reportedly displayed a knife and then fled the store with cash and merchandise.

No one was injured during the robbery. The Detective Bureau and Crime Scene Services responded and were able to recover video evidence.  The investigation into the robbery is active. At this time we are not releasing video or photographs of the suspect.
