The Future of the William Stanley Business Park in Focus Tuesday

Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, Housing and Economic Development Secretary Mike Kennealy, and MassDevelopment President & CEO Dan Rivera will be holding a virtual press conference on a Site Readiness Program Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

According to a press release from the Office of Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer, Governor Baker, Lt. Governor Polito, Secretary Kennealy, MassDevelopment’s Dan Rivera, will be making an announcement relative to the Site Readiness Program. Other invited guests include state legislators and municipal officials from Belchertown, Brockton, Burlington, Fairhaven, Gloucester, Lawrence, Leicester, Palmer, Pittsfield, and Southwick.

The Site Readiness Program is administered by MassDevelopment on behalf of the Baker-Polito Administration. The program aims to boost the state’s supply of large, well-located, project-ready sites; accelerate private-sector investment in industrial and commercial projects; and support the conversion of abandoned sites and obsolete facilities into clean, actively used, tax-generating properties.
