The City of Pittsfield Street Improvement Project continues this week with a full schedule of paving work on several city streets.

For those of you who would like to try and avoid running into road construction work, here is the full list of this week's upcoming work, sent out by the office of Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer.

On Monday, Oct. 4: Pave top will be placed on Malcom Driveway aprons, while excavation and paving binder work is being conducted on driveway aprons on Dexter and Dillon streets. Crews will also be raising structures on Plumb Street and Anita Drive.

On Tuesday, Oct. 5: Pave top work will be done on driveway aprons on Dexter and Dillon streets, as well as excavation of driveway aprons on Huron Street. Crews will continue to raise structures on Plumb Street and Anita Drive.

On Wednesday, Oct. 6: Berm work will be done on Deming and High streets. Structures will be raised on Curtain and Paul avenues, and Maloney, Lucille, and Hawk streets.

On Thursday, Oct. 7: Berm work is being conducted on Deming and High streets, while structures will be raised on Curtain and Paul avenues, Maloney, Lucille, and Hawk streets.

On Friday, Oct. 8: Excavation and paving will be done on driveway aprons on Buel Street, while crews will be raising structures on Curtain and Paul avenues, and Maloney, Lucille, and Hawk streets.

Motorists should keep in mind that on-street parking is prohibited during this work taking place between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
