Two Pittsfield men were arraigned on murder charges Friday in Central Berkshire County District Court.

Carlos Pascual-Polanco, 18, and Chiry Omar Pascual-Polanco, 22, were charged with the Jan. 20th  shooting death of Jaden C. Salois, 18, of Dalton.

The siblings were held without bail pending a May 29th pre-trial hearing. Berkshire First Assistant District Attorney Karen J. Bell represented the Commonwealth in court on Friday.

District Attorney Andrea Harrington said.

“The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office was able to bring these charges thanks to the hard work and professionalism of the Pittsfield Police Department and State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, We worked closely with law enforcement on this case. The District Attorney’s Office sends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Salois.”

Pittsfield police officers discovered Mr. Salois’ body outside a home on Edward Avenue near Elm Street in the city at around 2:13 a.m. Jan. 20th, while responding to a report of a possible gunshot victim. Mr. Salois died at the scene from a gunshot wound.
