31st Annual Springside Park Cleanup Is Saturday

The 31st Annual Springside Park Cleanup is taking place on Saturday in Pittsfield. Clean-up officials say that the clean-up is taking place from 9 am to 2:30 pm and will be modified a bit this year to accommodate social distancing guidelines.

Locations for groups will be assigned to work in 90-minute intervals, 9:00 to 10:30, 11:00 - 12:30 and 1:00 - 2:30. There are 18 sections as part of the park clean-up effort and many sections are yet unspoken for.

WHERE: NORTH PLAYGROUND & ROTARY PARK

VOLUNTEERS ARE ASKED TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEAR MASKS WHEN CLOSER THAN 6 FEET.

DIRECTIONS:

NORTH PLAYGROUND – Enter at 871 North Street Main Park entrance just south of Reid Middle school and head straight for 1/10th mile.

ROTARY PLAYGOUND is located on Springside Avenue. There is some parking in the park and on adjacent streets in the neighborhood.

BAGS AND DIRECTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED ALONG WITH PARK MAPS AND INSTRUCTIONS to all VOLUNTEERS.
