Socially Distant Park Clean Up at Springside Park July 18th

The Friends of Springside Park in Pittsfield, in conjunction w/the Springside Park Conservancy, will hold a socially distant park clean up event on Saturday, July 18th.

The cleanup has been rescheduled from its usual April time, which marked the first time in four decades the park had gone without an organized April cleanup effort, due to the Covid 19 contagion.

ln an effort to take every precaution, volunteers are being asked to sign up in advance for one of three time slots, and they will then be assigned an area of the park with their family or small group.

Through this pre-registration process, cleanup officials will be able to eliminate crowding and minimize contact with other volunteers in the park.

Time slots are as follows:

9:00am-10:30/45am

11:00am-12:30/45pm

1:00pm-2:30/45pm
