City of Pittsfield Recommends Online Services for City Business
From the City of Pittsfield
PITTSFIELD, Mass. (March 15, 2020) – As part of the City of the Pittsfield’s ongoing mitigation efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which includes reducing the gathering of individuals in public settings, community members are strongly encouraged to utilize the city’s online services to manage their business needs.
Beginning Monday, Mar. 16, signage with this notification will be posted at City Hall, 70 Allen St., and 100 North Street.
“The health and well-being of every Pittsfielder is my greatest concern. For this reason, we are kindly requesting the community to limit their interaction with city offices as much as possible as we continue to navigate through this public health emergency. Please check our website to conduct business or by phone, 413-449-5600. However, if it is absolutely necessary, come in,” said Mayor Linda Tyer. “We are committed to doing all that we can to keep our community safe.”
For more information, please contact Roberta McCulloch-Dews, Director of Administrative Services, Office of the Mayor, 413-499-9322.
