February was American Heart Month, but it’s never too late to start thinking about heart health and if you are doing the things you need to be doing to ensure that your heart remains strong and healthy.

My guest on City Talk this past weekend was Dr. Nancie Fitch. She is a physician with MedExpress Urgent Care. Our discussion focuses on the many aspects of heart health, including diet, exercise, lifestyle, family medical history, and much more.

Do you know the difference between a heart attack and a cardiac arrest? We talk about that as well.

Some of you may know that my father died of cardiac arrest many years ago, and I am getting closer to the age that he was when he died. My chat with Dr. Fitch really made me take notice. I hope that you will hear this and start to take your heart health seriously as well!
