The trial of a Hinsdale man charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of his estranged girlfriend in 2018 is expected to begin next week in Berkshire Superior Court.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that 34-year-old Michael Boulais is accused of shooting Kassedi Clark to death in the driveway of his home.

The 24-year-old Clark, of Hinsdale, was a nursing student at Berkshire Community College at the time of her death.

Testimony in that trial is expected to begin Tuesday after jury selection and is expected to conclude early next week.

Boulais has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder. If convicted, he faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
