Round-Two of Crewdson Photoshoots taking place in Pittsfield This Week
The second round of new photoshoots in the city of Pittsfield by renowned photographer Gregory Crewdson gets underway today. Crewdson will be continuing to stage a series of photoshoots at multiple locations throughout the city and there will once again be some road closures in effect to accommodate the shoots.
During the first round of photoshoots, filming took place under the railroad bridge on Mill Street, at the former Jim’s House of Shoes on North Street, at the former Lach’s Lounge on Fenn Street (see this article header photo), and at the Fourth Street Bridge.
The entire schedule of the photoshoots is expected to continue through early-to-mid October.
Here is the list of photoshoot locations and subsequent road closures that start today:
Thursday, Sept. 30: Getty parking lot on Elm and Newell streets. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. there will be intermittent traffic control throughout the day. Please note that Newell Street from Elm to Meadow Lane will be closed from 5-7 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 1: 568 East St. No traffic impacts or closure.
Saturday, Oct. 2: 1420 East St. Filming will occur 9 a.m.-9 p.m. with intermittent traffic control on Commercial Street throughout the day.
Sunday, Oct. 3: Tyler Street vicinity by the Dairy Cone beginning at 9 a.m.-9 p.m. There will be intermittent traffic control throughout the day with the closure of Tyler Street from Pleasure Avenue to Cherry Street from 5-7 p.m.
Another photo shoot is slated for Wednesday, Oct. 6th in the area of Linden and Onota streets. A schedule and details of the traffic impact have not yet been released. We will update this story when that information becomes available.
