Two Juveniles in Pittsfield Facing Drug and Weapons Charges
Two juvenile males were taken into custody in Pittsfield on Wednesday after police say they possessed firearms and illegal narcotics.
According to a media release from the Pittsfield Police Department, at approximately 1:30 PM it was reported to the Pittsfield Police Department that a male individual was in possession of a firearm at a residence on Francis Avenue in the city.
When patrol officers arrived at the scene, they began conducting an investigation which led to the determination that three males had fled the residence and engaged in suspicious activity as they traveled through nearby properties on foot. A short time later, two juvenile males that matched witness descriptions where detained by police officers.
